BOS scoops a prestigious award
Bromsgrove Operatic Society was awarded the Barnes Trophy by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association, (NODA), for the ” Iolanthe” programme. This after winning the Richards Cup, a West Midlands Region award and being out forward to the national competition.
The cup is presented annually to the society judged the best throughout the whole of the 2011 season.

Commenting on the societies success Ian said: “We are delighted with this, which gives enormous inspiration for us all at Bromsgrove Operatic Society. Those involved in the programme compilation and all Members of BOS can feel very proud of being recognised with this national prestigious award.
